when Wisdom and Faith Collide

Wisdom and Faith Collides





there is a place i know
where Wisdom and Faith Collides
when we think we’re in the “Know”
our Faith we put aside

trust is such a hard thing
to do with all our Heart
when we think we know the answer
we let our Faith depart

sometimes it is suffering
that exposes our Faithless Rock
rolling down the Hills of Life
never taking stock

as we lean to what we think we know
thinking we’re doing our best
had we stood upon our Faith
we surely would be blessed

our understanding is finite
‘tis His we must lean to
we always confer with our Self
in most the things we do

not much did He ask of us
just a Mustard Seed
we could move the Mountains
if we but grasp the deed

but in my heart of Love
‘tis Him i’ll diligently seek
let me be the Lamb of God
let me be the meek.

for . . .

i know not what He has for me
but i know i must learn Trust
for He has all the Power
to raise me from my Dust
