i saw you coming down the lane
arms full of flowers and sunshine
the smile of God upon your face
happy to see me.

i humbly bowed in love to your grace
as tears of joy caressed my soul.
my heart started the melodic
beat of love marching as you drew closer

i became blinded
by the bright
rainbows of promise . . .
as the butterflies danced
upon my loins . . .
raising my passions . . .
to embrace your joys.

needless to say . . .
i felt beautifully endowed . . .
as my heart took flight . . .
it soared gracefully
with the essence of my dreams . . .

for illusion has passed
beyond my grasp . . .
and i realized . .
. . . i am loved !
