the Hoot Owl
there was and old Hoot Owl hooting away
spinning and old Hoot Owl yarn
and this is what that old Hoot Owl said
as he left the barn
i know the Forrest and the Trees of the Wood
and i know each one well
from many a wind they sheltered me
and each had a story to tell
One told of the many years
and all the Storms endured
One told of the darkest nights
and Dawns they were assured
the collective word and consensus
that all Storms and Dark does pass
that He who stands and bends not breaks
through Storms and Dark will last
