blink again
a raindrop
a tear drop
all the same
a call to consciousness
whispering a name
do you hear what they are saying ?
soul come to me
to thy chamber
where your memories
have been kept
where the virgins have wept
for love’s embrace
can you taste the sweetness
or the salt
i have exalted thee
above the Angels
and you still yet
to learn to fly
now it is my turn
to ask why
have i flawed
nay
for the day soon comes
when you child
shall realize
but a small portion
of your sum
and you shall live
out your earthly days in a wonder
of your magnificence
reflected
in
a raindrop
a teardrop
for they are all the same
blink again
