~ Questions ~
a Collaboration with Arnita D. Doggett
(Arnita)
i open my eyes to the softness of your touch
are my feet touching ground?
i smile from my heart as you call me "Baby"
never sounded so sweet ... so real ... so true
i could almost swear i saw a cloud
when you kissed my lips with passion
is Heaven close by?
there is magic in you ...
(bill)
i came to you
with a poem in my heart
begging to be freed
when your lips touched mine
i realized my own beauty
and it became my duty
to explore your depths
that cloud you saw
carried me beyond
to that place where we communed
upon the bed of bliss
embraced in that kiss
where eternity stands stilled
(Arnita)
I read your poem
it was the fuel for the fire
and it found its freedom
i was breath-less
until you gave my heart a beat
i hold your hand
and feast on the One-ness of us two
making me realize the Beauty in why
God made Woman from man
for man
and from the heart
that's learned your feel
i am alive with feelings
Touch me again ...
it was the fuel for the fire
and it found its freedom
i was breath-less
until you gave my heart a beat
i hold your hand
and feast on the One-ness of us two
making me realize the Beauty in why
God made Woman from man
for man
and from the heart
that's learned your feel
i am alive with feelings
Touch me again ...
(bill)
as my words reach out to touch you
in that place
that causes our passions to flow
i am consumed
as i offer my self to you
for the same
in the name of all that is holy
i wholly submit
to our truth
there are two things
that can not be denied
and that is thy beauty
and our love
and that breath lost in the “less”
has made me more
and i now do implore
that we come
together as one
as it is written
that it must be so
so be it
(Arnita)
at Peace with you and myself
i close my eyes again
as i lay
heart , body , mind and soul
in the halo of your arm ...
i close my eyes again
as i lay
heart , body , mind and soul
in the halo of your arm ...
(bill)
and our embrace awakens all that is eternal
and all questions are answered
