Divine “BE”-ings

i sit here before the windows of my Soul

looking at my “Self” looking at me

and i am mesmerized

by all the possibilities of what “i” Be

if i did not glimpse the infinite

then where do my dreams come from

i know i often speak of it

the exponential-ness of our sum

but beyond my ‘finite’ thinking

is ‘sum’ a thing that can exist?

can the infinite ever be totaled

or is that but an ‘empirical’ wish?

where does all the ‘Beyonds’ reside?

they say it is within who we are

is this the cyclic never ending journey

where the ‘near’ enjoins the ‘far’

sometimes i wonder why we bother

pursuing that dream called “Free”

perhaps that is the bondage in illusion

that inhibits us from what we “Be”
