i am but a Raindrop . . .

i am but a Rain Drop





When I see a Cloud I am encouraged . . .
for i am / we are but a raindrop . . .
existing in the perfect order of life





. . . as i fall, i am being called to duty.
in falling I am being cleansed . . .
and given my charge . . .
in time i will be grounded . . .
upon which i shall feed and nourish . . .
as i am so directed . . .





some of my fellow drops will do so also . .
. . . and some have other callings . .
we will quench thirsts of all creation . . .
Earth, Plant, Animal, Mountains Streams and Spirit . . .
our duties . . are they not predefined ?





some to the plants to provide nourishment for growth . . .
that they too shall fulfill their purpose?
some to provide the waters of life to cleanse . .
from within as well as without . . .





. . . and some to feed . . .
the streams of life . . .
. . . that in turn . . .
. . . feed the rivers . . .
. . . that in turn . . .
. . . feed the oceans of our life . .
. . . only to return from whence we came .





do you not feel the calling . . .
. . . that urging drawing you?
Can we alter our path . . .
. . . oh raindrop ?





So I say . . .
Be the best raindrop you can be . . .
. . . and BE !
