the Poem called Life

for the 4th of July we took a drive into the Mountains outside of Heber Valley into the Wasatch Mountains and this is what the spirit of that occasion ushered forth.   2 of 2

the Poem called Life

i stood on the top of the Mountain
and i gave my Poetry back
to all i could see

the Valleys
the Rivers and Lakes
the Glens
with abundant Amens

Life is a Poem
as are we
Rhyming in Breath
and skipping Heart Beats
and Gasps
of Creation’s Wonder

the breeze
the soft whispers
of the Wind
caress my inner ear
beckoning me to hear
the music
of perfection
that lies before me

each of us paying homage
in reverence
for we are present
the present
we each offer
in lyrical verses
lyrical Breaths
lyrical Heart Beats
in the Poem called Life
