Disciple of the Dawn

the Cocks are crewing

before the dawn

to make those who hear

aware that a new day approacheth

some crow all day

to bring notice

to those who still yet sleep

to take a peek

at life that is slipping by

the light is a fleeting gift

that is shifting

through darkness

the nomenclature

of Creation's foundation

the mystery of life

is spawned

from that place

we have yet to see

less more understand

i sit upon the balcony

listening

to the night noises

which is poised

to exacerbate my fears

but i fear not

for i know

this too

is from which

i have come

and i am still yet becoming

uncloaked

from my darkness

and the Cock Crew

and i shant deny

that which has already been told
