am i ?
the road that i travel
was paved with no regret
for the best of my life
is ahead of me yet
the lessons i’ve learned
in the trials of my past
have shaped and defined me
and are growing quite vast
as i look forward
to each “Here and Now”
i open all gates
that i may allow
the best of myself
to come forth to being
and i am amazed
at all that i am seeing
with joyful wonder
in each footstep i take
i am thankful and grateful
that i am awake
am i ?
