a majority of one





i am a majority of one
and i'm having fun
i can kiss the moon
i can kiss the sun

i remember the time
when i was two
i was so confused
i didn’t know what to do

i just couldn’t seem
to make up my mind
serving two masters
no straight road could i find

living my life based
on others opinion
just going along
giving them dominion

but i finally know
i got it just right
no need to tell me
for i see my own light

but should in our journey
we share a moment or two
i must let you know
i'm blessed to have met you

but be you aware
of the cold hard fact
when they don’t get what they want
they’ll resort to attack

so keep a clear head
for it’s not as it seems
there are powers adrift
and they’re stealing all dreams

so that is just why
i say what i say
i remind my self
every way every day

i am a majority of one
