the coming storm

the coming storm

the winds are increasing
disturbing my peace and
i can taste the approach
of the coming storm

the air is moistening
and Mother’s voice
speaks just above
the sound of the Sunshine

i look over the horizon
and there evidences
a turbulence rising
coming to greet
the consciousness of man

this is an ominous presence
and i witness the essence
of where i stand
as all begins to move
the shift
changing the stance
we were once so assured of

yes change approaches
and it has an agenda
for we have waited too long
while embracing the song
of our lethargic dreams
and it seems
that Mother
being who and what She is
has taken the reins
as the Rains of the coming Storm
are swept into our Now

there will be no more breezes
that eases us in to remembering
for our limber fortitudes
serves nothing
and the music has been cued
and the discordant symphony
begins to play

will there be thunder and lightening
i am sure of it
for we quit the quest
to manifest the charge we were given
and we took to living
giving credence to
the surreal jaded delusions
of the darkness
and convolutions
where truth can only be felt and never seen

do not complain
nor whine
we had opportunity
but we did not trust
our instincts
with divine impunity
as they wrenched upon themselves
in the pit of our gut
so what you say

and so with direct succinctness
we will be directed
none the less
for the test site has been closed
and we can not longer suppose
we will get another free pass

for all that we have ever imposed
upon our Brothers
and our Sisters
will be the meal we must eat
and we will be seated permanently
at the table of our Karma
so don’t be alarmed Ma
at the repulsiveness
of the plate that is set before you
for in the core of you
you always knew
this truth

the Storm is coming

yet i speak . . .

yet i speak . . .

i speak in a tongue long forgotten
by the ways of man
and the tones of creation
reflects within the soul
of all existence
ieoueao

the babblings of a madman
is inexplicably understood
with a clarity
and parity is realized
here and now

and in the angles and lines
man falsely defines
the confines
of his own energy
as that which is in question
but we know
yes, we know

and each night when we close our eyes
we again escape
the “self”
that of the created boundaries
we embrace

instead of facing
the know
we have falsely
deludedly
mislabeled
in this fable
we call life

we have been sent to the garden
and instead of partaking of the fruit
we worshiped the dirt
and though worthy of our reverence
the dirt bears purpose
but is not sweet
and can not complete
the cycle of life
of it’s own accord

and that sacred sash
that golden chord
which binds man to truth
is unloosed
for we say it is too tight
and there are many aspects
of who we are
that can not stand it’s light
as we frightenedly run amuck
the fields of ill gotten gains
and the moon of this night wanes
and it matters not
for we are blinded

and need i remind my self
that it is time
again
to extricate that magic from within
again
that we may be delivered
from the madness of our own letting
that which we have created
in the walk towards forgetting
who we really are

and there still is that voice
speaking in tongue
who has wrung delusion
from our witful existence
and the pittance of it all
is that we heard the whispers
heard the shouts
heard the call
and we refused to answer
and played the dumb one
when the tongue of “IS-ness”
spoke the language
we have chose to forget

yet i speak . . .

in the way

in the way

i long
for the empty cup
that i may reflect
that spirit of the River

i put a hole
in it’s bottom
that life
may continually flow
through me
absent of effort
in the way

that Poem . . .

that poem

i stood
i looked life in the eye
and i began to speak

i spoke of my
dancing heart
my dancing thoughts
my dancing dreams
in dancing tones

yes,
i danced through the syllables
with joy
formulating words
to create verse
for i was being
that poem
called gratitude
called life

that poem

a Rose . . .

a Rose

if you hold it’s beauty to tightly
it’s petals will list
and it’s fragrance will be short lived

if you are careless
surely the thorns
will bring forth
a new
or forgotten
perspective

thus is love

a Rose

each day

each day

each day i awaken
but to realize
that i too sit
upon this lovely throne
of my consciousness

i embrace this wonderful kingdom
in all it’s divine magnificence
Father has created
for our joy

can you see it ?

the color
the majesty

can you hear
the choir of Angels
singing your song ?

Can you see Life
dance before you
simply . . .
because you are present
in the Royal Court ?

awaken

each day
